Fiberglass grating grid board is a composite material board with numerous regular spaces, carefully crafted through a special molding process that combines glass fiber and unsaturated polyester resin.
From a structural perspective, fiberglass grating grid panels present a beautiful and practical plate-like structure, with these spaces mostly rectangular or square, distributed regularly and uniformly, endowing them with unique mechanical characteristics and multiple properties. Its self-weight is extremely light, with a specific gravity of about 1.8, only a quarter of steel and two-thirds of aluminum. This characteristic greatly reduces the foundation support and significantly lowers the material cost of the project when using fiberglass grid panels.
In terms of performance, fiberglass mesh panels have bi-directional mechanical characteristics and extremely high strength. Their strength is ten times that of rigid polyvinyl chloride, and their absolute strength greatly exceeds that of aluminum, reaching the level of ordinary steel. At the same time, it has corrosion resistance. As a non-metallic material, it is rust, mold, and corrosion resistant, and can withstand corrosion from various gas and liquid media, including acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and salts. It has demonstrated extraordinary adaptability in areas prone to acid and alkali corrosion, as well as in industries such as power generation, electroplating, wastewater, and pharmaceuticals. In addition, it also has good flame retardancy, insulation and non-magnetic properties, as well as drainage performance and anti-slip and wear-resistant characteristics. The oxygen index is generally above 32, and the flame propagation rate is low, which can ensure the safe operation of power equipment and ensure safe use.
